Schedule.vet (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides online scheduling, reminder, and communication tools for veterinary clinics and their clients (“you,” “your,” or “user”).

By accessing or using Schedule.vet or any of our related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Overview

Schedule.vet enables veterinary clinics to offer online appointment booking, reminders, and communication features directly on their websites.

Clinics can customize messages, pre-visit instructions, and other settings, while clients can book and manage appointments conveniently online.

2. Eligibility

To use Schedule.vet:

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• If you are a clinic, you must be an authorized representative of a licensed veterinary practice.
• If you are a client (pet owner), you must provide accurate and truthful information when booking or communicating with your clinic.

3. Account Registration

For Clinics

Clinics must create an account to access Schedule.vet’s management dashboard. You agree to:

• Provide accurate business and contact information
• Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

For Pet Owners

Clients may book appointments or receive reminders without creating an account. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from your clinic via your chosen method (SMS, email, or both).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Schedule.vet to:

• Transmit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Send spam or unauthorized messages
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Misuse data belonging to clinics, clients, or third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

5. Service Features

Flexible Reminders

Clients can choose SMS, email, or both for appointment confirmations and reminders. Clinics are responsible for ensuring messages sent through Schedule.vet comply with applicable consent and communication laws.

Clinic Customization

Clinics may include pre-visit instructions, payment links, and emergency information in their communications. Schedule.vet is not responsible for the accuracy of clinic-provided content.

Seamless Integration

Schedule.vet integrates directly into clinic websites. Setup and integration support may be provided as part of a Pawprints.vet subscription or separately under a service agreement.

6. Fees and Payments

Clinic subscriptions and service fees are outlined in your service agreement or subscription plan.
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. 

Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of access.

No refunds are provided unless required by law.

7. Data Privacy & Security

Your privacy matters to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

We follow HIPAA-friendly practices, including encryption and secure communication. However, ultimate HIPAA compliance responsibility rests with the clinic using the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and design elements of Schedule.vet are owned by Pawprints.vet or its licensors.

Clinics retain ownership of their own logos, content, and data but grant Schedule.vet a limited license to use them solely for operating the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Schedule.vet may integrate with third-party tools (such as SMS or email providers).

We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or content of third-party services, and their use may be subject to separate terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not responsible for any loss caused by technical issues or downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Schedule.vet and Pawprints.vet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Schedule.vet, Pawprints.vet, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Service
• Any content or information you provide through the platform

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for:

• Non-payment
• Breach of these Terms
• Legal or regulatory requirements

Clinics may terminate their subscription by providing written notice according to their plan’s cancellation terms.

Upon termination, your access to the system will cease, but data retention and deletion will follow our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
